🎮 PLAYER ONE NETWORK — PATCH NOTES
September 16–18, 2026
Development continued across Player One Network over the last several days, with this update focusing heavily on the P1 Store experience, checkout improvements, and merchandise branding.
A lot of this update is about refinement — taking systems that already work and making them cleaner, easier to understand, and more consistent with the rest of Player One Network.
🛒 MAJOR STORE CART REDESIGN
The Player One Store cart received one of its biggest visual overhauls yet.
The cart has been redesigned into a much cleaner desktop shopping experience.
New Cart Layout
The updated cart now uses a more structured two-column design:
🛍️ Products
The main section focuses on the products currently in your cart.
💳 Cart Summary
A dedicated summary area keeps important information such as:
- Cart totals
- Shipping information
- Discounts
- Checkout access
separated from the product list.
The result is a much cleaner and easier-to-read shopping experience.
🎨 CART DESIGN IMPROVEMENTS
Several smaller elements throughout the cart were redesigned alongside the main layout.
Improvements include:
- Cleaner product rows.
- Better spacing between products.
- Improved quantity controls.
- Better coupon presentation.
- Cleaner totals.
- Stronger checkout button presentation.
- More consistent Player One Network styling.
- Improved visual hierarchy.
The cart should now feel much more like part of P1 instead of a separate storefront interface.
🗑️ CLEARER REMOVE BUTTON
The previous product removal control wasn’t clear enough.
The cart now uses a much more obvious removal action featuring:
🗑️ Remove
with a trash-style icon.
This makes it immediately clear what the control does instead of relying on an unexplained button.
🧹 CART UI CLEANUP
Several unnecessary lines, separators, and awkward spacing issues were cleaned up.
This included work around:
- Coupon areas.
- Product rows.
- Cart totals.
- Shipping information.
- Free Shipping placement.
- Section dividers.
The goal was to reduce visual clutter while making the important information easier to locate.
🚚 SHIPPING INFORMATION CLEANUP
The placement of Free Shipping and other shipping information has been refined.
Shipping details now sit more naturally within the cart summary instead of appearing disconnected from the rest of the checkout information.
This makes the total cost and available shipping options easier to understand before proceeding.
💳 CHECKOUT PAGE — MAJOR REDESIGN
The checkout page received extensive work during this update.
One of the biggest problems was that the checkout could become far too narrow, leaving billing fields and order information feeling crushed together.
The checkout layout has now been significantly widened and rebalanced.
📐 BETTER CHECKOUT WIDTH
Checkout now uses a much more controlled desktop width instead of either:
- Being compressed into a narrow center column.
or
- Expanding unnecessarily across the entire screen.
The new layout is centered with better proportions between:
📝 Customer / Billing Information
and
🛒 Order Summary
The order-summary area remains clearly separated without taking over too much of the page.
⚖️ BETTER CHECKOUT BALANCE
Several rounds of refinement were made to find a better balance between the two main checkout areas.
The latest design gives billing information more breathing room while keeping the order summary compact and easy to scan.
This should make checkout much easier to use on larger desktop displays.
🏷️ COUNTRY & STATE FIELD FIXES
The Country / Region and State fields had a visual problem where labels could overlap with text inside the fields.
That has been corrected.
Form labels and selections now have more appropriate spacing and should remain properly separated.
📞 PHONE COUNTRY SELECTOR IMPROVEMENTS
The country-selection interface associated with phone information also received styling improvements.
Previously, parts of the dropdown could become difficult to read against the surrounding design.
Contrast and field styling have been improved so the information is much easier to see.
✏️ ORDER NOTES CLEANUP
The optional Order Notes area received another visual pass.
The field and placeholder presentation now better match the rest of the checkout experience instead of standing out as a generic form element.
🌑 DARK CHECKOUT FORM STYLING
Checkout fields have been brought further into the Player One Network visual language.
Updates include:
- Darker form fields.
- More consistent borders.
- Improved contrast.
- Better label positioning.
- Cleaner spacing.
- More consistent corner styling.
The result better matches P1’s blue gaming/technology aesthetic.
⬜ WHITE BORDER & CORNER FIXES
Several areas of the cart and checkout could show strange white outlines or small bright corners around otherwise dark interface elements.
Those visual artifacts were cleaned up.
This includes improvements around:
- Checkout containers.
- Input fields.
- Payment areas.
- Summary panels.
- Rounded corners.
The overall presentation should now look significantly more polished.
💰 ORDER SUMMARY IMPROVEMENTS
The order summary has also been refined so totals, payment information, and product information are easier to read.
Improvements include:
- Cleaner spacing.
- Better width.
- Improved alignment.
- More consistent colors.
- Better separation between sections.
- Improved payment-area styling.
The order summary is now designed to complement the checkout rather than squeeze the rest of the page.
🎮 PLAYER ONE MERCHANDISE BRANDING
Additional work was also completed on the designs intended for Player One Network merchandise.
One area receiving special attention was controller-themed artwork.
🕹️ CONTROLLER DESIGN REFINEMENT
Controller graphics used in Player One Network merchandise are being redesigned to have a more distinct visual identity.
The updated direction avoids closely mirroring the recognizable shape and design language of any particular console controller.
Instead, P1 merchandise can use:
- More original controller silhouettes.
- Custom button layouts.
- Player One design elements.
- More distinctive shapes.
- P1-specific branding.
The goal is for Player One merchandise to be recognizable as Player One Network, not visually dependent on another gaming brand.
👕 MERCHANDISE IDENTITY
This work continues the broader effort to establish a consistent identity across P1 merchandise.
Designs are being developed for uses such as:
👕 Shirts
🩳 Shorts
👖 Pants
☕ Mugs
🥤 Cups
🎮 Gaming-inspired merchandise
🏷️ Branded accessories
The focus remains on designs that work naturally with the Player One Network identity.
🔧 QUALITY-OF-LIFE POLISH
Alongside the major changes, a number of smaller improvements were made throughout this development period.
These included:
- Better interface spacing.
- Cleaner cart sections.
- Improved checkout alignment.
- More consistent dark styling.
- Better input-field behavior.
- Improved shipping presentation.
- Clearer cart actions.
- Better checkout proportions.
- Merchandise design refinement.
Much of this update focused on eliminating the small visual inconsistencies that can make an otherwise finished system feel unfinished.

💙 CONTINUING TO POLISH PLAYER ONE
Not every update needs to introduce an entirely new system.
Sometimes the biggest improvement comes from taking what we’ve already built and making it feel better.
That’s been a major focus of this development period:
Cleaner. More consistent. Easier to use. More distinctly Player One.
Whether you’re browsing the store, checking out, wearing P1 merchandise, or eventually printing your own Player One pieces, the goal remains the same:
Build a better connected Player One Network.
Play. Create. Connect. Together. 🎮💙
