A major new chapter for Player One Network’s social experience has arrived.

Today, we’ve been working on one of the largest updates to The Lobby since its original introduction.

The Lobby 2.0 is about making P1 feel more connected, interactive, and alive — bringing together the community, creators, squads, content, and player activity into a much more unified experience.

This update introduces new community functionality alongside a substantial visual overhaul.

🚀 WELCOME TO THE LOBBY 2.0

The Lobby is evolving beyond a traditional social feed.

Instead of limiting the experience to individual posts, the new direction connects activity from multiple areas of Player One Network.

The goal is simple:

One community. One identity. One connected network.

Members can discover more of what’s happening across P1 without constantly jumping between different sections of the platform.

🌐 NEW INTERCONNECTED COMMUNITY FEED

One of the biggest additions in 2.0 is a more connected feed.

The Lobby can now bring together activity and discovery from areas such as:

• Community posts.
• Squads.
• Events.
• Player One Knowledge.
• Videos and creator activity.
• New community members.

This gives the feed more variety and helps members discover parts of Player One Network they might otherwise miss.

Whether someone publishes a guide, shares content, joins the community, or participates in a squad, The Lobby is becoming a central place to discover what’s happening.

📰 MAJOR POST FEED REDESIGN

The post feed received a substantial visual overhaul.

The previous presentation had areas that felt unnecessarily large, crowded, or disconnected.

The updated design focuses on:

• Cleaner post containers.
• Better spacing between posts.
• Improved content hierarchy.
• Better positioning of images and media.
• More consistent buttons.
• Clearer post information.
• Better visual separation between discussions.
• Improved alignment throughout the feed.

The overall result is designed to make browsing feel more natural and less cluttered.

👤 NEW POST IDENTITY DESIGN

Member information displayed at the top of posts has also been redesigned.

Previously, usernames could appear oversized and take too much attention away from the actual post.

The new design uses a more compact social-style header.

Changes include:

• Better-balanced display names.
• Smaller username handles.
• Cleaner timestamp positioning.
• Improved avatar alignment.
• More compact role and category information.
• Better Follow button placement.
• Consistent identity styling throughout replies.

Your name remains recognizable without overwhelming the rest of the post.

💬 BETTER COMMENTS & REPLIES

Conversations underneath posts received another major cleanup.

The previous reply presentation could feel crowded and visually inconsistent.

The updated direction introduces:

• Cleaner reply containers.
• Better spacing.
• Improved author information.
• More consistent reaction controls.
• Better visual separation.
• Clearer conversation hierarchy.
• Improved inline discussion presentation.

Replies are being brought closer to the main Lobby design so conversations feel like a natural part of the feed.

✍️ REDESIGNED POST CREATOR

Creating content should be quick, obvious, and enjoyable.

The post composer has received a new compact interface with improved controls and clearer icons.

Members can access different content types directly from the composer.

📝 Post — Share updates, thoughts, and conversations.

🎬 Clip — Share video-related content.

🖥️ Setup — Show off your gaming or technology setup.

👥 Find Players — Connect with people who share your interests.

📊 Poll — Ask the community questions and collect responses.

The buttons have been reduced in size and given more recognizable symbols, improving the overall experience without sacrificing functionality.

🔎 FEED NAVIGATION & SEARCH IMPROVEMENTS

The feed’s primary navigation has been reorganized.

Members can switch between:

Everyone • Following • Clips

These filters now sit more naturally alongside the search interface.

Improvements include:

• Better horizontal alignment.
• More consistent spacing.
• Improved button proportions.
• Cleaner active states.
• Reduced overlapping elements.
• Better handling of smaller screens.

The goal is to keep content discovery easy without unnecessarily crowding the top of the feed.

🟢 LIVE PULSE 2.0

Live Pulse has received one of the largest visual upgrades in this update.

Rather than appearing as a static list of members and statuses, the system is evolving into a more animated and interactive part of The Lobby.

New Live Pulse experience

Improvements include:

• Animated activity indicators.
• Orbit-inspired visual effects.
• More distinctive status icons.
• Better color differentiation.
• Cleaner member previews.
• Improved activity grouping.
• Better card organization.
• More interactive presentation.

Live Pulse is intended to make community activity feel visible and alive.

🎨 DISTINCT LIVE PULSE STATUS COLORS

Status information now uses more recognizable visual distinctions.

Instead of every status looking nearly identical, icons and accent colors help communicate what members are doing.

Activities such as gaming, streaming, browsing, and building can feel more visually distinct.

Special attention was also given to improving the Building activity icon and making the overall status presentation more recognizable.

Animations have been refined to remain interactive without becoming unnecessarily distracting.

⚡ QUICK STATUS ACCESS

Changing your Live Pulse status previously required navigating down to the status editor.

That experience has been improved.

A new Update Status shortcut provides direct access to the existing status controls.

The status editor still remains beneath Live Pulse, preserving its familiar location while making it easier to reach.

Members no longer need to manually scroll through the entire activity section just to change their status.

👥 SQUADS — BETTER COMMUNITY CONNECTION

Squads are becoming more closely connected to The Lobby.

Rather than remaining isolated community groups, Squad activity can now contribute to the larger social experience.

The 2.0 foundation expands Squad functionality through:

• Improved Squad discovery.
• More connected activity.
• Squad resources.
• Pinned discussions.
• Better organization.
• Stronger integration with the community feed.

The goal is to give groups more purpose while helping members find communities that match their interests.

📅 EVENTS & COMMUNITY DISCOVERY

The Lobby is also expanding how members discover community activity.

Events and related network activity can become part of the broader discovery experience.

This helps make The Lobby a more useful starting point for finding things happening throughout P1.

Instead of only seeing what someone posted, members can discover other opportunities to participate.

🏅 RICHER PLAYER PROFILES

Member profiles continue to evolve alongside The Lobby.

The updated direction focuses on making profiles more useful and interactive.

Improvements include:

• Better organization.
• Richer achievement presentation.
• More connected player activity.
• Improved profile navigation.
• Stronger integration with the wider P1 community.

A profile should represent more than just a username and avatar.

It should reflect the member’s identity, interests, achievements, and contributions throughout Player One Network.

🏆 ACHIEVEMENTS & COMMUNITY PROGRESSION

Achievements are becoming more closely connected with the social experience.

As members participate across the network, their accomplishments can become a more meaningful part of their identity.

The 2.0 update continues improving how achievements are displayed and discovered through member profiles.

This supports the larger goal of connecting activity across:

🎨 THE LOBBY 2.0 VISUAL OVERHAUL

Alongside the new features, today’s development involved extensive design refinement.

The new direction follows the Player One Network 2.0 visual identity while keeping The Lobby recognizable.

Major refinements include:

• Redesigned page header.
• Better title and action-button separation.
• Cleaner section alignment.
• More consistent blue and cyan accents.
• Improved button styling.
• Updated scrollbar presentation.
• Better spacing throughout.
• Improved responsive layouts.
• More balanced panel proportions.
• Less excessive rounding and visual clutter.

The public name remains The Lobby, maintaining the identity members already recognize.

🖥️ NEW LOBBY HEADER

The top section has been redesigned to better separate the Lobby identity from its interactive controls.

The updated header introduces:

• Clearer typography.
• Improved spacing.
• Better button placement.
• More readable background treatment.
• Stronger visual hierarchy.
• Responsive stacking on narrower screens.

The Update Status action is also more accessible from this area.

📱 RESPONSIVE LAYOUT IMPROVEMENTS

The Lobby received additional work around different screen widths.

Updates focus on preventing buttons, search controls, and other interface elements from overlapping.

Improved responsive behavior includes:

• Cleaner wrapping.
• Better control sizing.
• Improved feed proportions.
• More consistent spacing.
• Better readability.
• More practical touch targets.

Additional device-specific refinement will continue as The Lobby evolves.

Several smaller improvements were made throughout the latest development revisions.

These include:
